The Baker & The Adventurer
Long before The Old World Oven had a name, there were two travelers from different corners of the map.
Clinisha was raised beneath the Florida sun, while Joseph came from the hills of Pennsylvania. Their paths crossed in an unexpected place—the world of Halo 5—where a friendship began, grew into love, and eventually led them to marriage in 2019.
Through every new chapter, Joseph has encouraged Clinisha to follow the gift God placed in her hands. What began as a love for baking slowly became something more: warm cookies shared with friends, new recipes filling the kitchen, and a little cottage bakery built with faith, patience, and a great deal of love.
Clinisha is the baker and storyteller behind The Old World Oven. She believes baking is one of the gifts God has given her—a way to bring comfort, joy, and a little warmth to the lives of others. Joseph is her greatest supporter, trusted taste-tester, market helper, and companion through every adventure.
Together, they dream of one day opening a place unlike any other: a cozy bakery joined with a welcoming gaming shop. There, travelers could gather around warm treats, books, board games, video games, and shared adventures—a place where the oven is always warm and everyone is welcome at the table.
For now, that dream begins here, one cookie and one chapter at a time.
